From the Ground Up..

Howdy, Folks..

I'm new around here and I don't know much about broadcasting. I had a small FM station up for a while but took it down because it was too powerful to be legal under part-15. I do want to check out the option of part-15 legal AM in my area. I've been to other sites in the same mindset but I'm looking for more techie stuff like antenna information/install ideas that might help me get the most from 100mw. I have some background in radio but never messed much with these frequencies. This could turn out to be a major project but it seems like fun!

I believe I have a great area to assemble a station. My property is around 200' higher in elevation than the surrounding areas. Maybe with a tuned grounding system, I may get some good coverage but that's yet to be seen..

Any pointers/information will be greatly appreciated. I haven't decided on an xmtr yet so I'm open to suggestions..

Thanks..<P ID="signature">______________
