For the past year various DX forums have been full of reports of hearing KRCM at great distances due to the station running day power long after sunset. KRCM has been frequently heard in the northeastern U.S. and has also been heard in Western Europe.
 
Nope...1KW-D/97-N omni...the current site is near Cypress....22KW day, 50 night and 3 tower directional with 2 patterns....at night it doesnt even cover the COL..if it had built a DA in Beaumont, may have gotten higher power...but unlikely..(also needed to protect the 1400s in Galveston and LCH....from its new site, it can get away with more power while still doing that)
