Not that it matters...but...990-WALE is off the air yet again. Checked in once during mid-morning, and again after 9 this evening.

No carrier...No nothing. Just stations from Montreal and Rochester, NY fighting it out.

We now return you to your normal topics.

WALE fights itself out. They are the only radio station that somehow manages to lose in a one man fight.

More than likely, when it comes to that 50,000 watt "WHALE", usually somebody didn't pay the bill for the airtime. Only the fishies will notice the difference.

Well it's clear that nobody with any real money ever buys it. Just one broke owner after another. One day after a good storm the towers will fall and we will be done with this.

Maybe Salem will throw enough $$$ at Arpin to take the place over. They'd probably like it as a sister to 550 in Pawtucket. This from their penchant for having 2 stations, one low-frequency and one mid band. Perhaps their TRN stuff could go there,
