From the WTF folder...

I heard The Real McCoy's "(Just) Another Night" on The Zone this morning around 9:15... That track is almost 11 years old...

It's good not to forget some songs, and Real McCoy is great , wish Q 94 would pull some tracks out the box w. more that just Friday

I do like the track... I'm waiting for Ghost Town DJs, Sisqo...

wow...11 years ago...

I was in middle school, listened to Q-94, and thought Rush Limbaugh and G. Gordon Liddy were Jesus reincarnatated.

There are some things from 11 years ago I wouldn't mind having back...but the Real McCoy's? Well, some things are best left buried in the sands of time...

As long as they keep away from Chaka Kahn and Salt n' Peppa, everything will be OK... :)

Liked it when it came out, but for it to hit the Zone, that is odd to say the least. I would think that it would more or less be on BOB, given they are more hit driven from the mid 90's as opposed to the zone. Could it be a signal for a Flashback type show or just something saved from either the top40 96X days(biggest mistake in Norfolk radio history there) or something that BOB left over before they went to 93.7.

Back to the 96X top 40 fraud, I have always thought that was why 96X got killed, it left in the mist of the time of FM99 and the Coast. By the time they got back to alternative 96X, it was too little too late.

Dang----its bad enough for an adult to feel that way, but reeeealy a shame for a little middle school kid to be so wasted over Limbaugh and Liddy. Hope you've gotten over it by now.

No worries...I stopped listening to hot-air talkers long ago...

I don't know which one is worse: Admitting that I once listened to rap, or that I once listened to Limbaugh!

Enough of that...let's quickly make a tangent!
