From what I've read in these boards about Ibiquity

That's all you have to say, but there is one difference, Microsoft has been a huge success despite their business practices and iNiquity has been a colossal failure and their business practices have probably not had much too do with that. A PC is a PITA much of the time but it works as advertised, (usually), iBlock? Now that's an entirely different story, hiss, wooosshhh, buzzzz,.... droopping oouuttt, analog...digital...analog....digital, hiss boom baa, crash!!!!!!!.....silence. Now where the hell is that Motorola?

KB it's all that, plus listeners have just shown no interest. Broadcasters have forced a technology THEY believe is important, for THEIR own reasons. But consumers and listeners have other ideas. It happens. The vast majority of listeners are clueless as to the ides or concerns discussed in this group. Maybe listeners just want to turn the radio on and forget about it. Unless you're an audiophile or just can't be pleased with anything AM/FM radio sounds good. Selling the improved sound is a feature, but not a big benefit. People buy benefits.

Ibiquity should focus research on consumers, what THEY want and not so much on broadcasters.

One question might be, are YOU happy with the sound of FM & AM Radio?

Another question could be are YOU happy with the content of FM & AM Radio?

What improvements would YOU like?

Get it what would YOU like, not what we want... duh....
