Except for Fricke and Landry, Chris Moore, Raceday, and Ben Maller the rest is garbage. I click right over to ESPN radio.

Brian Webber is awful. Derrick Deese constantly laughing , Dan Moriarty is terrible just bad radio.
 
FSR is getting smoked on the weekends right now.
Leebo I'm sure we disagree about Chris Moore... but we definitely agree about Moriarity, Webber, and Deese. I don't need an entertainment update, I want football scores.

agree on all fronts. the line up combos are horrible. the pop culture/sports don martin created la-centric blather is a noxious aural cocktail whether on the weekends or during the week.
 
You know I don't have a problem with my sports guys being a bit non-sports, "pop-culturey"... but the guys that they have doing it on the weekend its just creepy. A handful can pull it off... Moriarty, Webber... ugggggh! I feel like with some of those shows its like listeningg my dad or grandpa try to be cool. Just do sports ******ys....

And again its ok to do "some" of that stuff...DURING THE SUMMER. We are in the middle of the football season. The N-F-FREAKING-L...

Just to clarify my last post... I want to make it VERY clear that my point was Webber and Moriarty can NOT pull it off. Its painful... PAINFUL
 
Man, they are getting worse. Its the Derrick Deese, Dan Moriarty, Deb Carson laugh fest... What kind of radio is that? I think management gave them license to yuck it up.

On Saturday the local station carried zero games and I was trying to get some hoops updates and football scores. I got "The FSR Stand-up Hour".
Listen the Moriarity guy is creepy and he is not funny. It seems as if Saturday and Sunday morning is the first time they picked up a paper or got on the net all week.

Where is Softy Mahler? As an old overnight listener even Sedano or Plank. Hell even the bitter dude from Florida that did the football show in the mornings on Saturday was great compared to the drivel we get now. STOP IT FSR!! STOP IT!
 
Yes, FSR weekends are bad. Fricke and Landry should be on after the games.

I dunno about wanting to hear Big Dog Duemig back that guy was hard headed and wrong.
 
Ugh, "Big Dog" Steve Duemig is awful. I remember he used to shamelessly shill for his pay-for-picks tout service while on the air during his Saturday morning FSR slot last year. And he would spend the rest of the time dropping names of athletes with whom he was allegedly friends, bragging about his trips to Vegas in private planes, and generally just being a pompous arse.

I'm glad someone mentioned Chris Plank though. He was by no means spectacular, but he had a pleasant, likeable demeanor and was well-suited for the weekend overnight slot.
 
Well before long FSR my wish they had Big Dog back. I hope they fail after canning Steve Czaban.
