Ft.Lee Translator

Is this translator still on the air? Last I heard they were doing a relay of a religious broadcaster.

This is the reason I ask....Up until a few weeks ago the Translator in Fort Lee was slamming a signal well up through Rt. 87 in New York on 103.1. But lately I notice I get WGNY-FM "The Fox" much further south than ever before with no sign of the translator.

Thanks!

103.1 & 94.3 Are a Mess

Yeah they are now translating 89.7 WRDR Freehold....When it was "Jukebox Radio" the signal seemed much much stronger.....The signal was nice and clear all the way up to Mahwah (the town in green to the top left corner of the map shown below)......Now the map below tends to be pretty accurate.......W276AQ is now very weak and distorted throughout all of Northern Bergen County......A forget about their other translator 94.3 W232AL Pomona, NY.....That blowtorch is now blasting a full 3.2 watts.......103.1 & 94.3 would be better off shut down b/c WRDR has killed both of them.

Oldies can be heard in North Jersey - see WMTR/WWTR or WGHT or WNNJ or WKHL.

Besides, they would have to translate the Oldies station for FREE.

They actually did translate WKHL for about one year before being sold to Bridgelight (owners of WRDR).<P ID="signature">______________
