FTC Eliminates Non-Competes

Some states have laws that make non-competes unenforceable. But now the Federal Trade Commission makes them unenforceable nationwide:

Good news for some air talent, who found themselves unable to work due to non-competes.

I signed one at a station over a decade ago, under a bit of duress.... (i didnt know any better at the time) then when one of our staff left and went to a station just outside the radius stated in our non compete, we were forced to sign under duress, a new non compete (sign or get fired) extending the non compete distance by 200 percent.
