Why is this such a bad thing? How many markets have 2 competing CHRs these days? It's not like there are any gaping format holes in this market.

Quite often, actually. And one usually beats the crap out of the other because they counter program. Both of these stations arent doing a thing.<P ID="signature">______________

Bangor is about the only dueling market that I can think of... And there are quite a few differences between B97 and Z107.

Oh, Burlington has XXX and and that CCU owned CHR. Or at least they did.

Many differences, INDEED Cooper!

Portland sort of has competing CHRs, don't they? I know WRED is a CHR/Rhythmic, but they really seem to want to topple WJBQ.

I'm just saying, if I owned either of the stations, and we were tied with our competitor for two books, i would do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to set my station apart from our competitor.

right now, both stations are just being lazy.
