b5 thanks for pointing out some great points. I guess I am looking at things from my perspective. I can only say shame on the Marketing and Advertising folks for not being creative enough to get us old folks to come off our wallets. Like I said in my first post I am an outsider and don't know about demographics, marketing and all that stuff.
Dale, I had only one target when I made the comment about snot nosed kids. I really loved your show and hated it when it went away. I wasn't as fond of your partner. NO the one I was referring to is Matt Murphy. I hate when he spends 45 minutes of a 4 hour show whining about his head set not fitting , not sounding like he want's to, the studio temprature and on and on. I always get a picture of a kid sitting in his sand box and whinning and crying because he has sand on his sucker. I want to say "Damn, boy knock the sand off and get on with the show." I like his show and agree whith him 90 % of the time. I just have to fight that vision every time he whines! lol
I just think the real truth to keep in perspective is that in the grand scheme of things 5 years from now, who is going to care what went on at a rinky dink Mickey Mouse radio station in Birmingham Alabama. So none of this is worth getting excited about.
