106.7/North Cape May flipped from country to oldies "Fun 106.7" yesterday (yesterday was April Fools Day and the start of the spring book).

WKOE (now WFNE) is now the market's 4th oldies station behind WTKU, WIBG-F, and WMID.

This marks the return of the "Fun" name to Cape May County as 98.7 used to be "Fun" WFNN, followed by the Fun 107/Atlantic City stunt in 1998.

And the Philly market is still stuck with boring OGL, the South Jersey Shore is the place to be if you like a W-I-D-E variety of oldies....

WIBG & WMID are a different animal than the mix that 106.7 and 98.3 have going on. Right now, 106.7 is playing "I Feel For You" by Chaka Kahn (one of my FAV songs!). Something that WIBG & WMID will not be playing anytime soon. So far it sounds musically like a CBS-FM clone...which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Wish there was a station like this up in Mon/Oc, seeing as WOGL & WCBS-FM have coverage issues. I love WHTG AM, but it has a horrible signal in Western Monmouth county.

Fun 107 is beating up Lite FM right now all the way in New Brunswick. So much for the "bad signal".
