If you're an old school radio-info.com member (like myself) then you remember the old website with the yellow background. Anyway we all made some predictions about radio for that year. I think it was either Jan 01 or Jan 02 anyway I thought it would be fun to see who was right and who was wrong looking back in Jan 08!!! Here is what some people predicted!!

By midyear WJZZ starts to drop to where Magic's levels were due to repetition. R1 blames it on signal
Fox becomes 80s the Point around 2qtr. Ratings skyrocket!!

Beat will be happy to be Atl'S #2 CHR/R
Fox 97 will continue to fall and eventually become all 80s then Alternative
JZZ will crack top 5 Ryan Cameron will complain their signal is stronger and petition for Hot to move to 107.5
Hot will stay the same
Praise will do either really well or fail miserably.

107.1 Improve ATL signal and stick w/ format but ratings will be low but they will bill well
105.3 Will become RealRadio. Doubt Stern will do AM drive
104.1 Will stay and still say 104.1 every 5 seconds!! CC wont attempt to steal the moniker
102.5 Will be a R1 mistake. But wont matter with other 3 (r1 stations) in top 10
101.5 Continue to drop as country music begins to fade
100.5 By giving this station time to grow Susquehanna will end up w/ a gem. Good things come to those who wait
99.7 Wont change a thing
98.5 Wont do as well as AC should.
97.1 Will become to POINT
96.7 Will stay the MIX simulcast
95.5 Is as good as gone. Either 80s, oldies or country
94.1 Will stay course and w/ the beat gone see a ratings improvement

95.5 become more like 95.3 Party in Orlando. Cox doesn't want to make the urban market a 3 way battle.
