So I was driving around last night, just scanning the dial from 88.1, to 88.5, the cleanest part of the frequency here. I heard several part 15 ops, both from peoples cars, and stationary. Driving down the road, only one mile from my house, I came accross a strong station on 88.1 playing Ozz Osbourne, as the stoplight changed, and cars started to pull off, the signal just disappeared. And just down the road another half mile, I heard un-edited Rap Music coming in on 88.5 right in front of a trailer park. the trailer park was pretty small, and the signal covered the whole trailer park and directly in front of the trailer court on the highway. And less than a half mile later at another stoplight, I heard more Rap music playing on 88.1, then the song just stopped midsong, and went to the beggining of the next song, and then skipped to another song, and was now playing Classic Rock. This signal also faded as soon as I drove away from the stoplight, and I was unable to tell if this was from a car, or a residents. Has anyone else ever picked up other peoples part 15 devices-stations while driving around? I heard all these stations within 2 miles of each other.

yes, I have picked up others ipod and cd player transmitters while driving around, and have also heard a few unlicensed stations before (those are no longer on air though)

Here in Orlando, I can barely stand to listen to my XM at night because people's inline (hardwired or otherwise using the battery) FM modulators put out so much competitive FM interference that I can barely use my own device.

I do miss the FM pirates that use to be on down here... Always something interesting/different/illegal to listen to, unless they just couldn't understand the concept of proper modulation.
