Funny insight to the Midget off-air

I drove into work today listening to Bubba and too my surprise I heard JabberJaw from the MJ Morning Show. I listened and laughed as I heard her throw MJ under the bus….which couldn’t have happened to a better JACKASS!!!

I had to call my 14 year old niece to find out what happened on MJ’s show Thursday…and she filled me in that typical MJ was being a giant ass to the staff and he fired Jab for wanting to going to the Obama shindig in Dunedin.

I loved hearing the inside scoop of how MJ acts when the mic is off, I assumed from his on-air presence that his off-air personality would be 100 times worse.

I understand that JabberJaw doesn’t have much experience beyond Clear Channel and working with MJ...Don’t know much about her but I hope she lands on her feet and somehow can know the midget off his perch.

Why does Bubba do this? He should focus on his own show and crew.

MJ wouldn't care less (on the air, at least) if one of Bubba's guys got canned.

Maybe because Bubba was canned by CC for being a "maverick" and MJ has two shows a day and is a staple of "conservative" radio and from an outsider's point of view------the ultimate CC company guy. I'd do the same thing if I had Bubba's show

I read the recap on BTLS.com, don't really understand the whole bit about MJ forwarding calls. Maybe listening to the audio would help. All I know is that as days go by MJ becomes more of a paranoid, delusional, meglomaniac, whose behavior is unsettling and certainly unhealthy to those around him. He fires someone for allegedly calling out to go to an Obama rally? Was she fired because of her politics? I would think that it would be great "journalism" to have someone go to a rally, talk to people, find out what Obama supporters are thinking, especially when you're a uptight, neo-con, Rush Limbaugh clone. It might make for an interesting show. Certainly better than staging "bits"

What happened is the request lines were forwarded to Jabberjaw's Mother's home. MJ admitted that the lines got crossed somehow but not sure how it happened.

As a regular poster with well over a hundred posts under my real name, I've decided to post anonymously to avoid being crucified and slandered on here and on a certain radio show.

1) Murphymornings10--I wanted to take a moment to recognize how believable your post is. Not all of us radio people are geniuses, but I think we have enough brains to figure out that that was posted by Blubba, Spice or Brett. Give it a rest guys.

2) I know that MJ has beaten Bubba in the past three trends Adults18-34. MJ and gang also were #1 12+ and were about two points behind 25-54. Something tells me that Mj's show at #2 makes a gob more money for CC than Slobba at #1 for Cox.

3) When I punch around, the Love Slug is bashing MJ non-stop. Looks like the audience is getting tired of it. I think they are smart enough to realize the bullying is just getting old. What the hell is this sick obsession with MJ? It's like 10 months now. Get some material dude and also quit wasting my time with the "previously" filler crap. I punch back and forth and Blub has some good stuff, but when the MJ-MJ-MJ-MJ diatribe comes out, I'm gone.

4) MJ's has been rock solid during the heat. A pro.

5) I don't have a guess yet about the phone forwarding thing, but why the heck would he want his lines going to someone else? That's makes no sense. I'll listen Monday, hopefully for an explanation

4) Has MJ even mentioned Blub once? Gotta be busting him that MJ has not been sucked in by the bashing. Looks like MJ played it right: no acknowledgement of the Blob, Blobs novelty wearing off and a lawsuit that's gotta be expensive. I heard numerous things that were clearly slanderous and not covered by parody.

5) Speaking of slander, I heard Jabberjaw on Friday. Wow, she even made slanderous statements it seems. Clem gonna pay for her legal bills? Does she realize that she'll be chewed up and spit out after they drain the quick novelty from her? Very immature move, Jabber jaw. It's going to come back and bite ya.

That's it for now))))

Couple of observations here from someone who works in the Bay area media who punches around on the drive in from suburbia.

Not a big fan of either show but do know that MJ/CC have pending litigation against Bubba for some insults hurled MJ's way since his return. Come on, filing a lawsuit over stoopid radio banter???? Back when radio was great, this stuff went on all the time and nobody filed any lawsuits. It's part of the job, live and let live.

This sounds like two radio egos butting heads and neither wants to blink. As for the shows, does MJ pay royalties to TMZ? could do without a lot of that crap and him talking about how rich he is.

i find some aspsects of Bubba entertaining - that guy manson is very talented, but i could do without the MJ nonsense and the updates on hulk hogan's family life. I feel bad for what he's going through, but again, that's TMZ crap. let those bottom feeders wade through that crap.

I do have to give bubba credit for addressing some issues that for whatever reasons local media won't - the lunsford lawsuit against citrus county for one; when he goes on a rant against something other than MJ, i can't turn it off. He sounds like a real person, MJ comes off as a phony/wannabe to me. His show in the afternoon is just lame. He's not an entertainer that's for sure.

If he's going to fire the intern for skipping out on work, that's his decision. sounds like he just likes hearing himself being Donald Trump - YOU'RE FIRED!!!!!!! but is it a bit? because he's such an anti-obama guy???? isn't bubba firing his guys all the time too????

is this what radio has become?

my two cents.

For those of you who work for the guy- let him defend himself. He'll pat you on the head on Monday when you say: "Mr. Schitt, I defended you on the internet." He'll say, "good work." He'll then do a McCain smirk and tell the producer next to him to keep you away from him. HAAHHAHAHAHAHA

Any post that starts with the "midget" is the Bubba crew posting here. I've met both, and MJ is about 3 inches shorter than Bubba. Who the "F" cares. I'm a shade over 6 feet and Bubba was, maybe 3 inches shorter than me. Again, who the "F" cares. On Friday, I heard the defection of Jabberjaw. I agree, very low stuff and it almost sounded coerced and scripted. I also noticed that she was using all kinds of "Bubba terminology", as if she was prepped or had cue cards. She sounded young, dumb and DISGRUNTLED. Sounds like she made a snap decision without thinking it through. As Brent would say, "Can't put the genie back in the bottle."

I agree with an above post that they (Bubba Show) will bleed her dry and kick her to the curb. She was giggly and agreeing to everything like a little girl trying to fit in. It was pathetic. I'll be honest...It was COMPELLING stuff, but I felt when it was over it really had no substance. I heard NOTHING that Buba hasn't been spewing over and over since January in his effort to paint MJ a certain way and destroy his career. Note to Bubba: doesn't seem to be working. MJ appears to be one of the toughest guys in this business. With all the slander and nastiness you guys have thrown at him for almost a year, he hasn't missed a beat on his shows. I flipped to MJ and couldn't tell a thing was bothering him on Friday. I don't know how he does that. I was late switching back to Bubba because MJ had me interested in what he was talking about.

Back to Jabber, I also heard a few things that sounded slanderous as well. Jaberjaw might have just bought her way into the lawsuit. I hope she knows how expensive that can get. She was used and will be flushed like a tampon. Look what they did to Lunsford's girlfriend.

Another thing, the people that say MJ is suing Bubba over name calling have no clue. MJ did not file a lawsuit over "namecalling." I monitor beacause I am in sales and I like AM drive radio. It's funny to see some of the people on this board use Bubba's words "it's only a little name calling." They obviously didn't read the lawsuit which was available at btls.com and Channel 10's site. (For that matter, it appears that Bubba hasn't even read the complaint, is he illiterate?) Bubba's hate fueled obsession pushes his rhetoric past name calling. Jay clearly has no control over him, which could end up costing Cox. I used to work for CC, selling it. I haven't seen or talked to MJ in years, but I know that he is one of the most focused and calculating people I have ever met in this business (even though the basta** once cost me an account and would never do my endorsements). I think his silence on the show about the case ought to be a clue. Bubba bitches and complains about the case and "it's costing money and the paperwork, legal wrangling, etc." My money is on the quiet one.

Just a quick comment about MUSICMAN11's post above. You are repeating Bubba talk about MJ's show is only "TMZ," which is not true at all. I hear a few TMZ-like items in the last 10 minutes of the show when they do their Hollywood dirt bit. Don't be a parrot just mimicking the stuff Bubba has used effectively to paint MJ a certain way. It discredits your posts.

Scripted or not -- it gave you something to talk about over the weekend other then where the local AM stick is going to be relocated too. Right?

I'll just stick to the morning drive time battle between WDUV and WSJT.

In regards to "dontwannabecrucified's comment that I am a staff member from Bubba's show...I'd be honored if that was true, but I am a retired morning show personality from Colorado.

And for the other reply that said any post with reference of "midget" has to be Bubba...are you kidding? I used the word Midget because I didn't think using a title with “No-talent Bag of ******” would have been inappropriate.

scrub, i form my own opinions on what i hear and every time i have turned on the mj show - which is not often i will admit - it's celebrity news that i could not care less about. I don't care for it when bubba and his crew does it or the evening news does it. As someone who works in the media business full time and has done so for most of my adult life, the term we currently associate with such news/gossip is the tmz mentality; 20 years ago we called it the entertainment tonight mentality.......discredit that!
