Funny Names

What are some of the silly character names (especially one-shots or third-party references) that pop up in TV shows that make you smile, giggle, or chuckle no matter how many times you hear them?

Green Acres was famous for these (remember Peter Greeder the Meter Reader?), especially when Haney was doing his sales schtick. For some reason, in a dream* last night, I was talking to someone about Green Acres and thought of the cigar store Indian that Haney was trying to sell -- its name was Irving Two Smokes. That's one that never fails to set off the giggle meter for me -- it's just so stupid that you have to laugh.

* (There's a separate topic someone might want to explore -- odd, trivial stuff from TV that insinuates itself into your dream life.)

From Perry Mason: Prosecutor Hamilton Burger. I guess back in law school and earlier, his peers called him "Ham" Burger! ::)

Unless they wanted him to smile for the camera--then it was "cheese" burger ;D

Sally Rogers had a boyfriend named Herman Glimscher on The Dick Van Dyke Show, and there was a character named Twinks McFarland on a Mary Tyler Moore episode.

I remember from Partridge Family: "Lorenzo Bernard, but you can call me Bernie"

And the actor stereotype on Beverly Hillbillies "Dash Riprock"

The friend of Mike and Gloria's on All in the Family, Sybil Goolie.

There was one Cosby Show when everybody was trying to teach Theo a lesson about life and finances. All the others in the household took on different personas/names, and Cliff's 'name' was Harley Weewacks (sp??).
