My brother and I were talking yesterday before the Radiohead show in Indianapolis reminiscing about our younger days listening to radio. I wondered if anybody had access to any of the old Furry Head and The Favorites Music from the 96 STO days. We were wanting to hear One Night and Booneville and some other tunes if anybody knew how I might come across them. We have been talking about this for years, so any help would be appreciated.

I have many of the Furry Head songs - but on cassette only, including 'Boonville'. Brian (Jackson) has a bunch more. The last time we spoke, Brian indicated that he was in the process of putting together a CD of our stuff. Shoot me an email address and I'll try to find out how he's coming along, and then get back with you.

Hey 315n87..I was on WVJS at that time..I miss those days. I have alot of that stuff on cassette..although it's not in very good shape now

I would love love love to get some of these, especially "One Night In Booneville." Every time I hear Murray Head, I think of it! :D My email address is [email protected]. I know it's been awhile since a post on this thread, but please let me know how Brian is coming along. (Tried to email 315n87 directly, but I cannot yet as I am a new member.) Thanks!

Not too long ago, Spoon had me put all the songs on CD from cassettes that were made of the original songs in the studio. I still kick myself for not making myself a copy. Barry Witherspoon has them all though.

What was your air name? Are you Joe Low? Or is this Ray Wettstain?

Hello, my name is Dan, and I too have "One Night in Boonville" recorded somewhere on cassette. Please keep me posted when this is available on CD or mp3. That was quite an entertaining show!

I have not released any kind of compliation CD of Furry Head, although I have something like 30 or so parodies that still appear on my show at appropriate times. 92.9FM WVJS/www.owensbororadio.com
