You mean Chick Watkins? Now he also handles the very soft format which isn't exactly standards but that's what they call it, and he's still a DJ there.
 
As long as there's superstations like KOSI here in Denver still raking in the listeners DESPITE feeble efforts by others to put a dent in their audience over the years & two Hot AC stations (One being sibling KALC Alice 105.9) who continue to try to put a dent in their audience, the format in general isn't going anywhere IMO.....
