With all of the Radio Disney stations being sold to other companies recently, I'm starting to wonder if Albany's Radio Disney 1460 will eventually get sold this year or next, and wondering who would buy it... I'm somewhat expecting Townsquare Media to reacquire the station (they owned it for a couple years as Regent Communications as a simulcast of WGNA before selling it to Disney) and put either a progressive talk format or simulcast 104.5 ESPN Radio on it (Townsquare only has 5 stations counting 103.5, so they can buy one more before they're capped...)
Of course, other potential buyers include Anastos (the owner of WVKZ, WABY, the YNN audio feed on 900 and Star 101), Salem Broadcasting (if they got Crawford's stations too, which might be likely within the next couple of years... Pulse 96-7 actually did better before K-Love/Air-1 arrived), or Paul Lotters (owner of WHAZ). However, it cannot be Pamal or Clear Channel as both are at their ownership cap in the market
Like to see your thoughts on who might buy 1460 when/if the time comes
