Future of radio....

Any opinions would be grateful......I hear different predictions from different people. Do you,reader of this thread,believe radio is an aging dinosaur that will soon evolve or die off to a new breed? I told somebody recently I want to start my career in radio, and got a look like I was trying to pat my head and rub my belly at the same time. What does the future of radio hold......dark and dismal, or a bright ora of fresh opportunities?

Hey JB! I'm not sure what's going on here in general or with this individual in particular, but I received a cryptic email (at my home address using my legal name) "asking" me not to engage this individual in conversation, so I've stopped posting on this board. Think Twilight Zone.......
