Future of the Dothan market and Arbitron

How much longer do we think Dothan will be a rated market? My sources tell me that 96.9, et al don't buy the book. Tragic is bleeding money. You have to figure they are looking to slash costs wherever they can and we all know Arbitron ain't cheap. If Tragic doesn't buy the book, that just leaves 99.7. If the others don't buy it, why should WOOF?

You are correct on the huge cost for Arbitron however don't forget that Arbitron normally does five (5) year deals so the contract for Dolthan stations may hold them in the market for a period of time. Dothan is not a huge national market and not sure there are many regional or local advertising agencies asking for numbers. Botton line is they may be saddled with that contract for some time (depending on contract dates)
