Not sure why im up this late but anyways. I was just wondering why does FX have just a screen saying "IV Trailer with countdown. I went to the website it has below and its www.rockstargames.com The trailer is for Grand Theft Auto IV. Anyone know why FX is showing this? Im just wondering.

I believe it's an infomercial for the premiere of the GTA IV trailer.
Let me run that by you again: an infomercial...for the trailer...for a video game. Part of me wants to call it a genius marketing ploy, part of me wants to stand outside whatever window Rockstar is throwing money out of so I can catch some.

I saw that, and part of me thought - wow, a interesting way to pique interest in a new "viral" video, and another part of me thought that it was better than the regular infomercials.
But yes, I too would stand underneath said window to catch the aforementioned large quantities of cash money.
