Fybush: Toronto 1 To Be Re-Branded

Who said anything about asian programming?
I wish the new Sun TV all the best.
They are currently running teasers telling everyone to tune in August 29th for new shows, but they havn't made the new name public yet. (At least, I don't think so.)
______________

I had to made the note that "Sun-TV" was a tie-in to the Toronto Sun (owned by CKXT-52's new owners) because some people south of the U.S./Canada border may have otherwise thought that "Sun-TV" might have meant a flip to Asian programming. I felt that I had to clarify the Toronto Sun/CKXT tie-in.

Although I believe the Toronto Sun outsells the Toronto Star, most Americans who are aware of newspapers in Canada know about the Toronto Star, but might not know about the Sun. It's like people who think that the New York Times is the only daily newspaper in New York!

But who reads the Toronto sun theese days? (just asking)
I thought everyone in Toronto was buying the Star.
If so, Sun TV will indeed help sales of the Toronto SUN.
______________

Toronto 1 To Be Re-Branded.

Torstar still does not have an on-air presence.
Sun has CKXT.
CIII has National Post.
CTV has The Globe.

Perhaps an increased ERP would go further than 'improved' programming.
Baby Blues anyone?
