G DeLaune & Happy Days bio....

I came across the last 20 minutes of Bruce and Gary's "Happy Days' radio show on 810 AM and looked up the the schedule on the stations website. As I read the write up of the show, I noticed that the bio of Mr DeLaune excluded all of those years that he spent doing the sports on KENS TV-5. I remember him as the sportscaster who always did the weekend newscasts and would fill in for Dan Cook when needed, from the mid 70s thru the 90s. But his bio never mentions anything about KENS TV. Anybody have any info on this obvious omission?

Might be because a full bio for Gary DeLaune would be rather extensive, including his legacy as having been the on-air newsman for Dallas' KLIF when President Kennedy was shot.

Found an interesting read about his participation here: http://www.klifhistory.com/pgtwo.html .

A few years back I engineered some high school games for Mr. DeLaune; it was interesting to compare the experience to years earlier when I engineered a young Tim Brando doing high school pbp here in Baton Rouge, LA.
