G. Gordon and Michael Reagan to KJDL Lubbock

Nobody's been talkng about this so, here you go:

Not sure if they were dropped from KFYO or if they jumped ship, but:

So let's review:
KJDL FM is JACK, and is running commericals (long ones, lots of them) in the afternoon and prime time on KAMC and KLBK.
KJDL AM still has the KCBD simulcast and is getting name reconginition there, and now they have two former KFYO staples, plus Dennis Miller and CBS News.

Not bad for a station owner that just sorta jumped on the scene in the span of a year, huh?
 
I don't know why KFYO dropped G. Gordon. However, the guy they replaced him with is not entertaining. But then maybe I haven't given him enough time. However, G. Gordon sucked...so anyone other then him is a stop up. I wish they would have snagged Glenn Beck. But I THINK someone one might already have him....

I don't know why you think 1420 is doing well. They have been around for 4 ratings books and have never been in the 12+ rankings...... Someone on a different message board said they talked to someone at KFYO and the reason for dropping Gordon was low ratings. Take it for what it's worth.
 
He might of meant that they were doing well as far as their line up was concerned. However, you are right...no one knows they are even there. So, there line up might be fantastic but it doesnt matter....no one knows they are there.
 
I was more making a statement about KJDL AM and FM. Never intended to mean that KJDL AM was doing "well." All I was saying was that for a station combo that is relatively young, they are not rolling over dead (yet).
