What up with this I have been hearing rumors about only 1 G on 98.5. Also I was tuning into G-Rock on 106.3 last week and they were airing the Breeze.

I heard a rumor...
Look for G Rock to hit the 106.5 frequency in the next few hours. With G Rock on both 98.5 & 106.5 in Ocean County, we should all start our speculation as to what & when Press flips 98.5 to. Country is my vote, but what do I know...I'm only an insider

Country on 98.5? Cat Country 107.3 already super-serves the entire 98.5 coverage area and then some.
WJRZ tried to go against Cat Country a few years ago and failed miserably.

106.5 comes in clear in Bucks County. I remember getting to the top of hill and tuning to 98.5 just to hear a good song.
As to the format that will appear on 98.5, this is my take:

Adult Standards
Oldies (focusing on '50s and '60s)
Active Rock (an edgier style similar to Orlando's WJRR)
Urban
Smooth Jazz
The format that will be on 98.5:
Country
AC (Press trying to compete with Millennium's stations)
CHR
Conservative-leaning Talk
The format that should be on 98.5:

I live in an area where you get a mash-up on 98.5 (my Part 15, The Peak out of York, WBBO and WKRZ). Was is WBBO running now? Are they still G Rock, stunting, or are they breezin'?
I think 98.5 will remain on G rock for a month before any flips are made.
