For the first time in about a year in a half, G Rock is doing a Retro Weekend starting at 3 PM on Friday.
The station has become surprisingly good (just about as good as a commercial Alternative in the Northeast can get these days, I suppose) in recent months - they have been spot on with the retro cuts and the newer tracks, and it's enough to make you forget that they play Linkin Park about 16 times a day (well, almost).
In the past the Retro Weekends have been excellent, and you never know what to expect from G Rock when they have it. I for one expect to be tuned in quite a bit over the next few days.
