G105 Showgram

Listened to Showgram today. They are so quiet and walking the line. Even had GAY stuff but still quiet. Guess the CC fear of god is at work.
Overall very boring.

there's always a wind-up before the pitch.
and that's after shaking off two signs.
Showgram works the edge of the plate.
even the best pitchers will hit a batter.
sometimes even by mistake.

G mornings haven't been good since John Van Pelt. :(

WOW! ;D ;D ;D
There's a good pull! Van Pelt was great!
Who was between VP and Bob and Mike. I have no memory of that...musta been stellar! :'(

Well, there was "Brian Patrick and The Wake Up Crew" around 1989 (when I've first heard G105 via DX from Columbia, SC). Then, the show wound up as Brian & Kathy (Cruz) in late 89 to 1990, then my memory gets fuzzy until Bob & Mike's arrived from KHFI/Austin around September of 1991. I don't think G had a memorable morning show between the John Van Pelt era and Bob & Mike. Didn't John Van Pelt bolt from G to do mornings at 94Z when they've signed on?

Ah-Ha! The Zoo with VP, Art Sloan and Tall Donna Mason?

Good stuff! Forgot all about that one.

Damn...from KIX til the 90's, Raleigh radio was very good.
