TechLive, on the other hand, was a joke. TechTV might still be around if they didn't have 9hrs of news per day for a year.

I am a gamer and i miss CFH and all the other TechTV shows. G4 is crap these days.I miss the logo that G4 first used when it launched and all of the old G4 shows that have been cancelled.

So, because of ONE basic cable channel -- out of hundreds -- this is the sole reason??!?

That's a pretty lame-ass excuse. Ya know, there are plenty of channels I don't care for. And you know how I deal with it?

I don't freaking watch it.

I'll bet many others do the same thing.

I can understand why you'd like it, if I had satellite, I wouldn't mind the prospect of a lot of TNG. The PROBLEM is that that has absolutely NOTHING to do with VIDEO GAMING. Comcast (or whoever) owns G4 now, and has completely and utterly ruined it. I know one person who still watches it--and he's NOT a gamer. And I'm good friends with a NUMBER of gamers.

G4 has completely driven away their entire audience. I've seen stations screw stuff up before, but this is the king of all screwups.

I agree that the Trek stuff and the Man show isn't for gamers. Perhaps they're doing a rebranding, like Spike did when they were TNN.
