Galaxy gone from Albany?

No more 'Bone' here in Albany. 94.5 now K-Love, 93.7 now Air-1 Christian radio affiliates. Looks like Ed bailed.... guess he couldn't compete in a town where there's actually good radio to go up against.

Hey ED, nice job taking down PYX.... HAHAHAHA

The arrival of K-Love and Air-1 to the Albany market was going to happen sooner or later....either by a full powered station or via a low powered translator, which the translator option wont be necessary now. I am surprised that Galaxy exited left stage, but hey this is radio. Anything can and will usually happen when you least expect it.

Ironic....The Bone had finally reversed its losses and was starting to rebound in the ratings too. It was actually tied with the Edge, and slightly above WEQX in the fall book, too. It appeared that they had dug in, and were planning to stay around for awhile. However, Albany had six Rock stations, of which only two, WPYX and WHRL had decent ratings. The other four each scored under a two share in the Fall book...
