Gallagher on the cutting edge

It is to laugh.
11:06, Friday morning, I hear Mike Gallagher on KRLD talking about the White Settlement name change referendum. "We were on the cutting edge of this story yesterday" he sez. Ha!. The story first aired on another 50,000 watt am station Wednesday night, and was picked up by MetroSource Metronetworks 1st DFW summary Thursday morning. KRLD doesn't subscribe to this service. Sadly, the vote by the council to set the ballot was taken August 30th, and nobody was paying attention. So much for the cutting edge. I guess that means when you steal a story before the paper does.

Yes, we know KRLD is Infinity, oh, "Great Master of the Obvious".

Salem produces and distributes Gallagher's show -- just as it does the boring Bill Bennett, the irritating Dennis Prager, Micheal "I was a liberal, but now I'm a conservative" Medved, and on and on.

As well as the annoying Mike Gallagher.

If these are examples of Bush's "compassionate" conservatives, I think I prefer the old "noncompassionate" kind.

By the way, Gallagher LOOKS like he is related to Danny Bonaduce.

Maybe that explains something :).

And, if you think FOX is slanted to the right, Salem long ago fell off the far right end of the Earth.

Personally, I think Tom Leykis is the most annoying, irritating and obnoxious.

But Gallagher is right up on the list.

Oh, and have you heard that Rollye James. Don't get me started on her.

Havent heard her...I tend NOT to listen to such on radio...I prefer music...
and sometimes news ;) but driving 70+ on an Interstate, I like a good beat...and talk radio doesnt do it for me..

I was in LA the day Rock Hudson's lover won his judgment against Hudson's estate. Leykis was literally screaming on the air the amount of the award on KFI ... over and over and over.

And have you EVER SEEN Leykis? I mean what he LOOKS LIKE?

A Brad Pitt, George Clooney, he's not.

What the hell would HE know about women? Except what travels from his brain to his right hand.

Rock would know more women than Leykis :).

If you need to relax, Classic 101.1 ... but not during opera.

NPR is good talk ... if you're liberal ... or progressive rather.

Better yet. Relax keep the radio off. The rushing air of a rolled down window has far more entertainment values than what passes for radio in the last 4 year alone.

At least Leykis has innate talent. And at least his grating tendencies are a put-on act. KLLI may sound mediocre, but they sound better than KRLD (and it's a true shame) from my limited experience.
