Wow! Just couldn't pass up checking out the link.

While I'm sure both left and right would love to disown any association with this group, I was impressed by how much of the sentiment being expressed echoed (though in more shrill fashion) stuff "mainstreamed" on the websites of one politicallly leaning group.

I'm far from sure that "buying them off" with free airtime is going to have any lasting effect though it must have felt good to make this deal-with-the-devil to deliver a little bit of peace to the grieving families. But, like paying off kidnappers, I'm sure this will have even nastier consequences!

In Houston, 1070 KNTH will run a best of Gallagher, right after i go on the air for about 20 minutes along with the Operationas manager why we are not going to air these idiots. Mike feels strongly about his position. We understand, but we have no intentions of turning "off" KNTH for 3 hours. We might as well drop the carrier if we let those people from Westboro on the air.

What a bunch of idiots. That's why an organization has been formed to stand guard at the funerals of servicemen and women, to keep these idiots out of the view of the families. I went to the viewing of one and the organization that protects the families were standing outside holding American flags, standing guard in case some Phelps idiot showed up.

If the only people going to heaven are the Phelps family, I'll see you all at the BBQ!
