how was the show today? anybody listen? opinions? did he have any special guests today? when i tuned in, barlett was doing the news - and i had to run for the train. thoughts?

I still listen to radio on the train I can get all NYC stations anywhere near midtown on the subway. I always listen on the New haven Line. the fun part being underground through the Park avenue tunnel between 125th st and Grand central on 42nd. However, any trains that go to Grand Centrals lower level I then loose NyC radio.

That last response didn't really answer the original poster's question. I was hoping for some feedback on his first day as well since I couldn't listen in. It's amazing how much anticipation and how happy people were that he was returning to NYC radio only to find very little response. Makes one wonder if people cared or not.

Check out today's story about the show in the Daily News. Sounds like we've got an edgier Gambling. I'm not sure that is going to work.

Both the Daily News and the Asbury Park Press have stories on Gambling's "first" day on WOR.

The News zeroes in on his "scoffing" Imus on Monday's show.

The Press piece actually teases an "exclusive interview" with Gambling, as well as station owner Rick Buckley and personality Joan Hamburg.
