Game Show Network Gone Haywire

Has anyone else seen the weird stuff going on GSN overnight? I've seen where an episode of the $100,000 Pyramid started early before 2AM EST and then in the middle of the show it froze for 5 minutes and then part of an infomercial came on while the $100,000 Pyramid was supposed to be on. Classic color Password has been showing shows out of order where you see guest stars and they go away for a day and other guest stars are on there and then you discover when the first guest stars come back a few days later, you discover that episode was supposed to be shown before the one you saw last with those particular guest stars. And the contestants indicate the episode is out of order as they are on towards the end of this show and they were at the beginning of the other show you saw a few days ago. Alan Ludden is in the middle of a sentence explaining something and a commercial comes on. Messed up. Someone needs to straighten all the out, it's not rocket science to fix all of that.
 
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has noticed this. This has actually been happening on all of their shows, and I noticed it during Pyramid (though the daytime airing of the show). I noticed that sometimes the picture would freeze for a few seconds, then it would jump, and the station bug would be on the screen.
 
ssetta thank you for confirming that my Tivo wasn't broken. It was making me question if it was freezing up and jumping around. I can't believe someone at the top hasn't insisted the engineers work towards a resolution.
 
Sometimes, when a picture on a cable channel "freezes up," it could be related to satellite issues.

Remember, it's the time of the season for sunspots...

I thought things like this happen only in March and October, when the satellite is directly between the sun and earth?

avtosalon I used EST as a point of reference. Whether the time zone is EST or EDT you know it's referring to the East Coast time. We all know it means 2AM on the East Coast. Your comment's like saying 3PM is not correct it's 15:00PM. I hope we can someday keep the time the same one way or the other without having to change clocks.
 
If you want to use the abbreviation for a time zone without referring to Standard or Daylight, then just use two letters, in your case "2 AM ET."
Too many people screw up the terminology as it is, attributing an extra letter to 'Daylight Savings Time', or thinking that the term 'Daylight Saving(s) Time' refers to BOTH of the annual time changes. We (those of us who observe, anyway!)are on 'Daylight Time' now; we will be on 'Standard Time' in the fall and winter.
 
I can't speak for any of the freezing and other issues GSN has had, but as for the 'classic' shows they've aired over the years, it's not uncommon for the commercial to seemingly cut off the MC in mid-sentence. Back when they originally aired, the host would often do a spoken intro for the sponsor, e.g. "And Lucille Ball and Joe Shmo will play the lightning round in just a minute, after we hear about a problem Steve has with his wife's bad breath, and how Scope saved his marriage...." So there's no way to gracefully bail in those cases.

Thanks guys. I already cancelled Gameshow network because I thought Rogers Cable here in Canada was the problem.

Let me know when it's safe to order the channel again.

I think they should do a "GSN originals" night at least once a month.
Even if there's reruns like Mallmasters, at least it'll draw some attention to that particular evening...oh right...they have to fix the troubles they're having with "going haywire" first. :D ;D
