Gaming Systems chat feature as a platform for remote broadcasts?

I’m not an engineer - but I am an admirer of engineers. I always got along with engineers because my natural curiosity often compelled me to ask them many questions (Which for some reason they were usually happy to answer). Now that I’m a home based freelancer I don’t have the opportunity to corner and query engineers very often. So I’ll pose my questions here:

Recently while I was playing a cross country session of GTA5 via Xbox 1 with my son. I noticed how fantastic the sound quality of our privet in game chat was.
The thought then occurred to me that an Xbox would make an excellent live broadcast platform. BTW-I have been both on cell and Xbox chat simultaneously with my son on several occasions and noticed how the Xbox audio showed minimal latency.
Anyone ever heard of a game system remote broadcast? Would this be a practical alternative? With the ubiquity of WiFi, the low latency and the superior sound quality and the modest cost of game systems it seems like a slam dunk.

I look forward to seeing your thoughts,

Regards.

A great idea, but with purpose-built remote boxes (i.e. Tieline, Comrex) along with Skype (which is device-agnostic) you'll probably find reluctance to try out an unproven technology on revenue-generating programming.
