The publisher's nearly half-hundred TV stations as well as its digital properties will have a new corporate identity when Gannett spins them off later this year:

TEGNA sounds like a contagious foot disease. I might have stayed with something a bit more meaningful.

So it's not, as I initially thought, a reference to the Swiss village, they literally just boardroomed it. Yikes.
