KERN News is reporting Karen Garcia was murdered... strangled to death according to the Kern County Coroners office.

I know there are a lot of people greatly saddened by this news. Karen was a class act, and will always be remembered. I am sure the police are doing all they can to find her attacker.

The Associated Press is reporting a ten-thousand dollar reward is being offered for
information leading to the killer of Karen Garcia.
The reward is being offered through the
Kern County Secret Witness program. Anonymous tips are accepted at
(661) 322-4040, where callers will be assigned a code name and number
to claim rewards.
