Garry Meier Memorial Day Blab~A~Que

So this Monday (Memorial day for those in Rio Linda) Garry Meier is going to be hosting his 1-4 afternoon show on the 50,000 watt blower from the sidewalk of Michigan Ave in front of the Tribune Building's showcase studio, Garry is going to be giving all kinds of good Walgreen's stuff away like Snugee's, Ped-Egg's, Depilatories and other fun stuff.
I think he even claims he's going to have food and tables.
Not as good as listening to Ole' Uncle Lar and Fried Winston while catching some ray's but better than a DISCO DANCE PARTY all day.

I'm heading down there ;) to check it out, anyone else going ?

Sorry, I gotta re-arrange my sock drawer.

I hoped maybe there would be a surprise announcement and they'd bring back the WLS Rewind (suspense is always a great way to build excitement), but it doesn't look like it at this point, does it?

I think I'll be out in my sailboat over in Michigan, listening to my OWN low power station play the hits!

Maybe Ken Alexander will fly around Chicago in a blimp broadcasting ,with a 100 watt Xmitter at 101.5, the worlds most beautiful music; occasionally stating that the revolution is coming and then announcing Percy Faith and Hugo Winterhalter music!

Now that would make for a memorable Memorial Day!
