Hi All,

Once again I am amazed at what is "out there" on the internet.

Here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PO0zqhhttIA someone has created an archive of this 45 RPM novelty recording by Gary Burbank. The recording played on the interest of who shot JR Ewing on the season finale of Dallas in 1980.

According to this site http://www.79waky.com/garyburbank.htm it actually made it onto the Billboard Charts...

I remember his release of the National Enquirer on 45 (Fraternity Records).

What a character! ;D
 
Back when WLW played music, the music director would show the song being played during the reporting period to BMI & ASCAP. Gary would get a check for 83 cents or a buck 24.
