I did not realize he was a "newsman".
Thought he just did traffic reports.

Speaking of traffic reporters, without Chase, who else is there?
 
I worked with both Gary Chase and Nick Ryan in the Riverside-San Bernardino market back in 1975. Gary did morning drive as a jock on Top 40 KSOM 1510/93.5. When he left Nick Ryan (Fanady) replaced him. I followed both doing mid-days.

Ron McCary was doing some traffic bits this am. Geez, I worked against him something like, uh, 25 years ago or so when he was at KFIG unless my faded memory is playing tricks on me...
