First Linda Brill, then Meg Coyle, now Gary Chittim's last day is Friday. The Gannett purge of the high priced, long tenured talent is on over at the mighty KING. How long till Lori and Jeff are out?
 
Sad move. Wonder how KING 5's ratings are now against KOMO, KIRO and KCPQ. Probably getting worse! We still have to watch NWCN on weekends because no one around here does any news on weekend mornings, except for KNDO/KNDU's "Wake Up Northwest" which half or more of it is fluff stories and entertainment around Central Washington. But I'm about ready to just click on KIRO's website to get my news now. At least Steve Raible is still there doing news.

Sorry to hear that Gary is leaving! He was a solid reporter. Gannett is deconstructing KING just like it has many other stations including KPNX here in Phoenix.
