And even though I've never been in L.A., I'll always recall the sound of that one 1993 KCAL 10 P.M. opening (John Young being the announcer), and even what was said:

"Now: Jerry Dunphy...Tawny Little...Carl Bell's weather...and Gary Cruz on sports. This is Prime 9 News at Ten: Southern California's most honored newscast."
