Gary Papa health update???

Anyone got info? Must not be doing too well, he's been absent from Action news for over a month now. They had to resort to havning Walter Perez do sports a few times when Jamie Apody was still in Clearwater.

All this, and with the recent uncharacteristic hiring of someone from another station (Jeff Skversky) I wonder if Gary is done at 6abc.

He's been on at 5 & 6pm. I read on Laura's blog that he has been missing the 11pm show due to recuperating from surgery.

Thanks, I havn't seen Action news at 5:00/6:00 inj a while due to work, so I wasn't aware of this.

Noticed Gary was restricted to a wheelchair during the Harry Kalas service. He didn't look good at all. I hope things improve.

Gary was on the 6:00 program last night. He seemed to be in good spirits, and he is growing his hair back. I hope that this is a sign that he is once again in remission. I have not seen or read any new health updates however.
