Gary Radnich - Katherine Heenan "spat"

Gary Radnich's little temper tantrum on KRON4 yesterday actually went "viral" and got national news coverage. Apparently, anchor Katherine Heenan announced the crucial part of his opening sports story before he had a chance to. He gave her a little scolding on air, and he wasn't smiling, so it seems like he was annoyed. He said later it was only a joke.

Both Radnich and Heenan have been at KRON for decades. I used to watch "NewsCenter 4" back in the 90s, when it was still the NBC affiliate, and had (IMO) the best local newscast. Even then, Gary was well know for razzing the anchors. I recall one situation - anchor Suzanne Shaw had recently gotten married, and decided initially to go by the name 'Saunders Shaw' on-air, combining her birth surname and her married surname. Radnich thought it sounded silly, and teased her about it on air more than once. It was funny, actually. This last incident not so much, perhaps.

From what I've heard, Radnich and Keenan are friends. It seems obvious that Moyer really really didn't like Ann Martin. His attack is more personal.

And in my opinion, Moyer was right about Harold Green. Green was a Bay Area anchor for a short time in the 70s, and was let go. He was second banana to Dave McElhatton on KPIX. I thought he was awful and was flabbergasted to see him on the air in LA awhile later.

The Description made me think it was the Bay Area version of Moyer and Martin though. But there was a Vallejo Resident prior to Last Years shooting in Virginia during a Live TV segment was viewed as a person always in confrontation's with News Directors in Virginia and Florida. Bryce Williams aka Vester Flanagan from Vallejo. Yes the former KPIX/ KCBS radio intern in the 1990's. I did not realized that owned property near my family's house in Vallejo. Vester Flanagan according to News Directors in Florida and Virginia was considered 10 times worse in his confrontations than Moyer from the interviews they did to Sacramento and Bay Area News outlets last year.
