Oh great! Another sport Gary can ruin by pretending he knows something about it. I heard him do soccer for PCN. He proved he knows nothing about soccer, making obvious statements and never sharing any real insight. He knows basketball, but is ALWAYS way too technical in his commentary. Not only that. It was "interesting" listening to him do state playoff basketabll games for PCN. Listen to Gary long enough and there's always a point where he stops talking about the actual game (for several minutes at a time) and goes down some road that has nothing to do with the game he supposed to be commenting on. It's like he gets bored with the game and decides to talk about another game that happened at another time. I'll give Gary one thing. With people in this area letting him get away with it, he could cover any sport. When a team scores a goal Gary says, "They score!" When a wrestler's hand is raised Gary says, "He wins!" Now that's engaging commentary! As for covering the York Revolution: Gary will probably talk down to the York College graduate doing the play-by-play. That kid already knows a thousand times more about baseball than what Gary will BS that he knows about the sport. Now the only trick is for Gary to insert right wing rhetoric (that he thinks everyone wants to hear) into his commentary. If there's a fly ball hit to left field, Gary can say, "The Liberals will love that!" But the craft wreaths he makes and sells are pretty. He could talk about that when there's a lull in a game!
