Gates Stereo 80 - Help request

Yeap... here I am again.

Now that I've fix the mess I've done on the relay/muting driver board, I ask to those who have this very same console if anyone is willing to help me to restore it's original state, regarding the muting/switching of the mics channels, something like "cable number 150 connects to this and cable 143 to that" I think it will be a simple task. At this moment there are 2 relays interfacing on channels 1 and 2. I need/want to remove them and place the wires according to the original shape. That's it...

Who goes first? ;D

Never did much with the 80. We had the Yard, abd upped it to the Stereo Statesman. Sorry.

It is not clear to me from your posts what you are trying to accomplish. It will be difficult to provide any input without a manual.

Why not?... I do work with computers in my job. I'm up-to-date... Why kill the radio broadcast history?

regarding my problem, the manual doesn't show the needed schematics. What I need is someone who has that very same console and model to help me in a step-by-step manner to show me where cable number X connects to... There's a relay on channel 1 and 2 wich disables the mic send to PGM because they were added for remote purposes. The previous owner doesn't hold the change schematics anymore.

It's a report regarding the end of the portuguese radio broadcast Museum, wich is located in a building where the portuguese public National Radio broadcasted till 1940. The building is going to be demolished... Do you think that's normal? At this moment no one knows if there'll be a radio museum anymore.

Mark Morton has the working one, I ended up with the one that had issues. I donated it to someone before I ever had a clue I would need gear for the student station I'm helping build up. I know Mark has the manual as I borrowed it to make a copy but my file copy went with the console.

Now if I could only find a copy of the Yard 80 manual, as I have very first solid state board WMNR ever owned.
