Gatesway Console

I'm not sure if this is the correct location for this post, but it's worth a try. I've been looking for the past couple of years for a monoral Gatesway console. This console was popular with many AM rockers in the 60's prior to stereo. I've tried numerous websites. Any condition is fine.

I have seen a few on ebay...post a preference on their site, and it will notify you if one comes up. I also suggest you post a wanted "here" on the engineering board, and a radio classified on "broadcast.net". Preseverence!

You can check here also, and post a "wanted" ad...

Have a friend who has at least two. Doubt that either is operational, but probably complete. He lives near Toledo, Ohio. Let me know if you are interested.

Thank you to all. I am interested TomT. The condition is not important. Let me know the method your friend is comfortable communicating with.

I'm just finishing up a restoration on a 1957 Gatesway 5133 console. Painted the gates grey and metallic green and gold for the Gates annversary in 57.
As for your question, they do show up on E-Bay from time to time. Asking around older AM stations that may have on in storage or collectors of the stuff. The older consoles I have I want to keep dipite what the wife says!

Good luck

Lane
