Gator in Myrtle having issues?

According to sources, WGTR Myrtle Beach is looking for mornings/PD. A week into the book. Why is it Qantum's other SC country property, Eagle 92.9, has been more or less stable (and successful) yet the revolving door just keeps spinning year after year at the Beach?

So many changes and yet it still gets an 8 rating.

I am sure Qantum is grateful that the only "challenge" ever mounted against them in Myrtle is by a weak Cumulus station. Same as in Florence, in a way - a weak Cumulus station that never mounts any kind of real attack, so the Qantum stations - market leaders with a majority share of country listeners - have very little to worry about. With all the turmoil at Gator over the years, they're lucky no one has seriously challenged them.

The last crew went to Greensboro for that country station. As for the station as a whole they sound good decent country station. The mess is down the dial at 106.5 going from The Wolf to The Coyote and now to Nash. Can't they keep a name dang.
