Gay format for radio??

I thought that is how Q100 was programmed, no? With Melissa and Bert being gay(one literally, one figuratively) they have their main programming covered and the rest of the music fits well. Considered them "All the hits Q1000 Atlanta's favorite closeted station.

Well, could this prove that we've finally seen how Q100 was affected???

I think a gay leaning format could work in a big market like Atlanta if it was done tastefully. Starting getting all dirty and sexual.. and it'll go downhill fast.

CIRR-FM, Toronto. Authorized earlier this year specifically to serve the gay community. I've no idea whether it's on the air yet nor specifically what kind of programming is (to be) run. It's a commercial station but fairly low powered. (it's about the size of a mid-sized translator)

Didn't Denver have a gay format on one of their AM stations a few years ago?

Also, the HD stream of WKSS, Kiss 95.7, in Hartford has a gay format called 'Pride' if I'm not mistaken. Primarily disco and dance music when I last checked.

If you're in a market where Pacifica has a station, it has politically oriented GLBT
programming scattered thoughout its ultra left programming schedule on its local stations.
