Gaydos, where do i start

Ok well I wanted to post this last week or the wekk before, and tonite while driving home he gave me something else to post.

1. While listing to Gaydos talk about the tax rebate check last week he sated that he makes 5.3 mil a year, does that idiot really make that much a year, I didnt think a local talk show host thats on from 7-10 7-10 7-10 cause thats how that idiot rolls could make that much.

2. Tonite he was talking about all the press that he was getting because is going to give his dead grandfather one of his four superbowl (not used with permission) tickets, and have the seat empty. I think he is just what is trying to do is get more people to listen to his show. And thats what it is all about , rating's. It doesnt matter what i think he should of done with the ticket, but i think the idea is great, but to have to go and get the attention for it is just sad.

If you convert that to pesos, sounds about right. TMISU are known for generous paychecks!

Nurse Jeff has volunteered to sit on my lap if Gaydos would only give me that Super Bowl ticket. We'll observe a moment of silence for his grand-dad as that's how we roll! (does that include parking?)
 
I thought the going rate for a night talk show host was $600,000-$750,000. ???
 
I know Gaydos' salary claim is totally false, but I hope the figures everyone else is throwing out are examples of sarcasm. $650,000?!? Are you kidding me? I don't think anybody in this market makes that much, let alone a talk-show host who doesn't air his show in the peak revenue hours of 6a-6p. I would venture he makes under $100,000 annually.
 
Wasn't there a big deal made about 101.5 picking up Stern, because at $600,000 (for the Phoenix market only) he became the highest paid broadcaster int he valley, passing Pratt?

Ummm... maybe Gaydos is being sarcastic. I've heard him refer to being dropped off at work in a limo. Did you believe that too?
 
Theres a difference from local to national, And of course national are going to get paid more then local. I have larry say that he makes 5.3 mil several times now over the last few weeks, and i dont listen to his show every day, or if it is everyday then it is just for about 20 mins or so on the drive home.

I will say this if the suites are paying him anything over $100,000 then they are wasting alot of money. A monkey would be better in that time slot :D
 
My guess is that Gaydos gets paid in Nigerian Naira...5.3 million Naira = about US $45,000.

That's about right.
 
Granted, while some of Gaydos' attempts at outrageousness fall flat (5.3 million annual salary), you've got to hand it to the guy for at least attempting it. He spurts out some pretty crazy stuff, at times.

Corporate paranioa over hefty FCC penalties has fostered
the vanilla flavor of today's radio personalities. Most of the time, the audience already knows what they're going to say.

Larry surprises me. Sometimes I follow those surprises with an exclamation of, "oh how stupid" ,but I'm usually always entertained by his act.
 
The Nurse and I sure hope there's no ASU basketball game Tuesday night to pre-empt the War Room on KT'R! We also hope there's no church leader funeral to cover either ;)
