Gayle Bass Leaves KTAR

Today, August 10, was Gayle Bass last day on KTAR. She will no longer participate with Arizona Morning News Saturday.

Gayle has been with KTAR for more than 15 years. She's done a variety of projects including the Click Chick, which ended in December. She also had a movie review show with Michael Dixon and Hollywood Dave.

Bob McClay had nothing but nice things to say about his on-air partner. Jay Lawrence called in. Also the former producer/host Andy Freeman(sp could be Freeburg) who hired Gayle called to support her.

Gayle is continuing to work on Right This Minute, seen on ABC15 at 1:00 PM.

Gayle's cool, will miss hearing her on KTAR, wish her continued success.

(KTAR is really turning into Minions Radio :-[ )
 
I guess it was because she wasn't preachy enough like the rest of the on-air staff.
Nothing like being lectured to on topics that the hosts have no experience in.
